Tuneraker Presents Micro Kitchen Club Night
Tuneraker has been promoting new music online for a year, now we go bricks-and-mortar to bring you the best new tunes in a club setting. We are delighted to launch the weekly Micro Kitchen club nights in Dublin in association with The Village venue and City Discs from 30th June onwards.
It’s Micro because that sounds techy and Kitchen because the kitchen is the place to be at parties. In other words, Micro Kitchen is all about cutting edge music in a party atmosphere with records fresh off the plane, be it Dubstep from the streets of South London or Techno from a basement in Berlin.
The Micro Kitchen resident DJs are Craig of the City Discs record store in Dublin and Tuneraker editor Christian. They will dig through box loads of new releases to bring you the best new music. Both Craig and Christian are mad vinyl collectors who can serve up some tasty rarities and revive old favourites to bring the temperature in the Kitchen up to boiling point. Declan of The Village will provide cool visuals from hypnotic, abstract colour loops to 1920’s experimental films.
The Village is the sister bar and club venue of established Indie music haven Whelans. Located next door to Whelans at 26 Wexford Street, Dublin 2, The Village is right at the heart of Dublin’s nightlife mile of Wexford Street/Camden Street. Micro Kitchen will try and add some fresh flavour to the mile every Tuesday from 10pm to 2:30am.
For updates and features on the most in demand tunes please check the Micro Kitchen web site.

‘You’ll always find me in the Kitchen at parties,’ sang Jona Lewie in 1980. Hope to see you at a Micro Kitchen night soon.
